Dallas E-Connection Spring Update

Howdy Dallas Flight Attendants! I bet you are thinking – Geeze Louise, can we just press the pause button on all these changes? I know I want to. This current environment is unpredictable and uncertain. But something else I do know is that we, as Flight Attendants are resilient and strong.

Baltimore E-Connection Spring Update

Spring has sprung! I know we are all looking forward to warmer weather, and with that comes more turbulence, storms, delays, cancellations, IROPS, etc., so please be safe out there. Screenshot original trips in case of reroutes, getting stranded, and other IROPS.

Opportunities to Show Up

I hope March is going well for you, and I am glad spring is around the corner. I don’t know about you, but when it is summer, I always wish for cooler weather rather than 120 degrees daily, and then when winter comes around, I wish for warmer weather. Either way, I’m thankful I live in a climate where I don’t have to shovel snow or be out in -7 degrees weather in the winter. There is a lot to unpack in this E-Connection that I hope you will find useful.

Maryland Protected Absence Hours

Over the years and through hard-fought legislation, paid sick leave laws in some states have allowed Workers to use their earned sick leave to not only cover their own illness but also to care for a loved one. TWU Local 556 has been active at the Local level and working with TWU International through the various State Conferences to have these laws cover Southwest Airlines Flight Attendants based in cities or states with paid sick leave laws.
