I hope you are enjoying your summer and are staying safe. I would like to touch on a few things going on throughout the system and in the Base to keep you updated and informed as best as possible.
Hurricane Beryl
Hurricane Beryl made landfall on the Yucatan Peninsula as a Category 2 storm early this morning. Beryl is expected to weaken to a tropical storm before returning to hurricane status as it slowly makes its way toward South Texas. Heavy winds and rain are expected from Corpus Christi, Galveston, and up to Houston through Tuesday and into parts of next week.
