Denver Pride Parade
The Denver Pride Parade is just around the corner on June 23. Our Denver Assistant Base Manager is keeping a list of those interested in marching in the parade and those who want to help prepare for it. Please reach out to Jerry if you are interested in either participating or helping. Additionally, Denver Inflight will host a pre-pride event on June 22 from 1500-1900 at Bad Habits on Colfax in Denver.
It’s that time of year again, folks! Summer travel is quickly approaching as we enter into the hot summer months. With this comes many challenges in the operation due to the unpredictable weather and technology issues Southwest seems to run into.
As my tenure as the Denver Domicile Executive Board Member (DEBM) draws to a close, I wholeheartedly appreciate the opportunity to have served the largest and highest awarded Base in the system. These past three years have been some of the most challenging years of my career, but also the most rewarding. Our Base is full of amazing Union activists and excellent Flight Attendants. It was my goal from the beginning to make our Union a more member-led organization and for each of you to better understand that you are all the Union.
