Earlier this week, the Southwest Airlines Implementation Team deployed the last automated pay elements in accordance with Contract 2024. Effective March 8, 2025, Late Return Override (LRO) and Last Day Late Premium (LDLP) will no longer be added to your compensation through a manual audit. While it took a little longer to automate these two premiums, we are excited to finally have our new contractual premiums, which are paid above RIGs, applied to our pay as intended.

I hope March is going well for you, and I am glad spring is around the corner. I don’t know about you, but when it is summer, I always wish for cooler weather rather than 120 degrees daily, and then when winter comes around, I wish for warmer weather. Either way, I’m thankful I live in a climate where I don’t have to shovel snow or be out in -7 degrees weather in the winter.
