Contract 2024 introduced new language, so while we work our way into warmer weather (again, allegedly), let’s make sure we know all options afforded in our Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA). Also included in this email are updates and reminders pertinent to our everyday lives, both at work and home.
When IROPs occur and you don’t get back to domicile as anticipated, we have language in our Contract intended to protect your time (on duty and scheduled off) and compensation. This language was enhanced and improved upon in Contract 2024 to provide more options and further protect our time. Here’s a few important points to know for when/if you are ever stranded or sent on an unscheduled overnight.
