Multiple fires have significantly impacted the Southern California region, blanketing the area with a dense layer of smoke and ash. Please rest assured that Southwest Airlines is actively working with its ground managers, local officials, TWU Local 556 Los Angeles Domicile Executive Board Member Angel Figueroa, and our Union’s Health and Safety Committee. Together, we remain focused on mitigating hazards to our Members and have taken steps such as walking overnighting Crew Members to other hotels and distributing N95 masks.
