Born in 1851, likely into slavery in Texas, she clawed her way out of the nation’s ugliest institution to become one of history’s most fearless revolutionaries. She wasn’t interested in playing nice or asking politely. Parsons wanted freedom, justice, and equality—and she was ready to tear down anyone or anything standing in her way.
Safety Committee Expansion Opportunity
When I applied for the Safety Committee Chairperson after being elected in 2024, I committed to growing the Safety Committee during my term. Since assuming the role of Chairperson, we have increased the Committee size from three to six.
Chicago Meeting Cancellation, Other Reminders
