During the morning session today, the TWU Local 556 Executive Board unanimously voted on the following motion:
“The TWU Local 556 Executive Board supports TA2024.”
The Executive Board has reaffirmed the unification of our commitment not only to our Members and our Union but also to the Flight Attendant profession across the industry.
The Executive Board approved, by unanimous consent, to send the TA to the Membership for a vote. The TA will be released to Members on March 25. More details to follow.

Your Negotiating Team greatly appreciates the Members for participating in the February 2024 Negotiating Team Survey. Your level of participation was powerful, and your Negotiating Committee provided these results directly to Southwest Airlines Negotiating Team and our assigned Mediators in our most recent mediation sessions.
The parties continued to make progress and were granted another day of mediation, which took place on Monday, March 11, and continued through Tuesday, March 12. Our mediators have scheduled an additional day for the parties to meet again. That session will take place on Friday, March 15.
Your Negotiating Committee met all day Monday and into the evening. We resume discussions today with the Southwest Airlines Negotiating Team. As soon as we have an update, we will send out a separate communication. We remain under the National Mediation Board protocol agreement and cannot disclose any further information at this time.
