Bill’s Weekly Round-Up
Today, the TWU Local 556 Executive Board, in accordance with the Bylaw Article VI, Section 4(b), appointed Chris Sullivan to serve as the Nashville Domicile Executive Board Member. Chris will serve in this role until nominations are accepted at the next Membership Meeting in the Nashville Domicile and an election is held.
We look forward to working with Chris as the Nashville Domicile Executive Board Member!
Baltimore E-Connection
It’s that time of year again, folks! Summer travel is quickly approaching as we enter into the hot summer months. With this comes many challenges in the operation due to the unpredictable weather and technology issues Southwest seems to run into.
Nashville DEBM Appointment

Orlando/Fort Lauderdale E-Connection
I want to start by thanking all of you for placing your collective trust in me. I believe there is a lot of work to be done this term, and I have several initiatives I want to get off the ground as quickly as possible.
I’d like to start with Member involvement. This will serve as an all-call for anyone wanting to be involved with Union work. I want to operate three separate teams, with people overlapping those teams depending on their interests in being involved.
Chicago E-Connection
Thank you for putting your confidence in me as your elected Chicago Domicile Executive Board Member. I am humbled and honored to have the privilege of representing you on the 2024-2027 TWU Local 556 Executive Board.
Phoenix E-Connection
First, as I embark on my sixth consecutive term as your Domicile Executive Board Member, I want to thank you again for putting your trust in me to represent you. I also want to thank Mitch and Lynn for stepping up to do Union work, as very few people want to do it.
Contract 2024 Implementation
Since Contract 2024 was ratified on April 24, 2024, your TWU Local 556 Contract Negotiating Committee has been hard at work on the next steps. Post-ratification items include the full implementation schedule, Contract Q&As, final version of the Contract, and education materials. The following information below is not an exhaustive list but will give you an overview of next steps, including deadlines and timelines you will need to be aware of.
